Nigel Gattsche
Nigel has over 44 years’ experience in the building industry, and is a qualified Builder and Architectural Designer.
Service in the New Zealand Defence Force has provided unique opportunities and experiences throughout the world. Projects have included –
Project team leader for Scott Base reconstruction in early 80s
Site manager for the complete redevelopment of Linton Military Camp in 1990 ( 92 million dollar project),
Deployments to the middle east ( Sinai) and appointment as the Force Engineer,
On first mission to Afghanistan in 2003 and responsible for the rebuild of Kiwi Base,
Site Supervisor for Build of New NZ Embassy in Beijing China (2016/7).
Nigel has also developed a Cyclone and Earthquake building system which saw him complete many projects for the NZ Govt and Pacific Islands. He also contributed as one of the assessors for the NZ Building Licensing System.
Seetha Ganesan
Seetha, Nigel’s lovely wife and business partner. Also his Master painter, an area of building which Nigel despises, but Seetha enjoys (thankfully). A total supporter of both the Tiny Home movement and sustainable living, also challenges Nigel’s ideas and concepts to add another viewpoint. Montessori Schoolteacher by day and builder’s mate after work and weekends
